Leo is a member of the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) in the Office of the Corporate Chief Technology Officer. Previously, he has worked on process module and integration development at LSI Logic, and on development of thin film electrochemical devices at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Since joining the ATG, his focus has been the emerging fields of thin film electrochemical devices, in particular, thin film batteries and electrochromic smart glass.

Essentially, Electrochromic smart glass (ESG) is high tech glass that can change its properties according to the salient needs of its environment. The glass can be clear, opaque, tinted or colored, has the capability to modulate heat and light transmission and can be used in a variety of applications.
