as a close observer of
as a close observer of european pv industry, i must say that this is interesting news. applied materials was pretty visible during the last year in various solar debates and always a considerate voice in -sometimes- heatedly discussions. hopefully this will remain in the future without any new sunfabs in the market and hopefully european industry can demonstrate without them that pv can also be deployed in utility scale.
from this news ,some
from this news ,some questions should be asked:
1.without the equipment manufacturers such as applide materials, will the speed of development of thin film solar cell industrialization slow down ?or in the eyes of applied materals,is the future of thin film solar cell vague?
2.maybe,applied materials finds another way for its thin film solar section.he does not want to be a equipment provider only.he decides to extend his industrial chain.
we really don't know whether this is a bad new.
